Yesterday we got to visit Phillip Treacy's Studio - Treacy is one of the most well-known milliners of the 21st century -phillip got his name creating beautiful hats that are considered more works of art. 

He has done collaborations with Valentino, Versace, Armani, Alexander Mc Queen and many others. 

Over past two decades, he has carved out a strong presence in the world of couture. We had such a great experience getting to visit his studio!! 

After we went to see the famous menswear Tailor Henry Poole & co. Savile Row. The short street of savile Row has become  known as the "gold mine of tailoring" Henry Pool has a long tradition of creating the highest quality made-to-order menswear in the world. The boasts a wide variety of high-society customers such as Prince Charles, Jude Law and Winston Churchil. The suits are custom made with the perfect finishes. 

We finished the day by eating at the Mosimann's Club one of my favorite neighborhoods in London!

The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From The Sidewalk To The Catwalk!

Eccentric Jean-Paul Gaultier is on the eve of his first London retrospective covering 40 years of the designer's creativity, some of the guests where editor in chief of British Vogue Alexandra Shulman, editor of the international edition of the same Suzy Menkes, designer of muse Farida Khelfa and many others.

The first major exhibition covering 40 years of creativity by Jean-Paul Gaultier, has includedmore than 165 pieces of clothing. The exhibition "The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From The Sidewalk To The Catwalk" shows of his cutting-edge designs that shaped theb looks of fashion for the last 40 years. His creations come from his never ending passions for the way of society and identity. He makes what some see as different into brilliance. 

The exhibition shows of over 165 cutting-edge couture and ready-to-wear pieces including infamous garnets like the iconic bra and corsets Madonna wore in 1990 blond ambition and other costumes worn by Kylie Minogue and Dita Von Teese.

There Plenty of time to visit the exhibition: exhibition at London's Barbican Arts Centre will be open to the public from 9 April to 25 August.

GIAMBATTISTA VALLI/ PFW FALL-WINTER 14

Not a single Giambattista Valli’s look came past the knee: his cocktail looks were all very short and luxurious. As for the surfaces, Giambattista played on his beloved flowers, with a print of maxi roses, and gardens in three-dimension guipure embroideries.

There were new riff on volume: geometric flaps were inserted on the side of the dresses’ waist for an effect that resembled a godet skirt. Absolutely lovely! Enjoy it!

This print is to die for! It’s a very delicate zebra print and a geometric perfection. It almost resembles a pattern of dark flowers.

Weekend in Miami

This week the family and I traveled to Miami with friends to celebrate the birthday of my baby Nicholas. 

Its been so wonderful to spend time with our friends and family.

The kids have been living up the worm weather and spending every second in the pool.

A nice change from the east coast ice age! 

WEARING SUNNIES IN THE WINTER

A lot of people don’t really know what sunglasses to wear in cold days. My tip is very straightforward! Feel free! You can wear any kinds of sunnies in freezing days, and I have to say I especially like the oversized ones!

Istanbul has opened a new hotel Philippe Starck - Yoo2

Philippe Stark is a designer that I really appreciate. He has a modern eye that I have always connect with. In my own home I have created a very modern feel and am lucky enough to have obtained a few of his pieces. 

Philippe is also very fun to follow because he not only extremely successful in interior work but architectural as well. Its very cool to see all the great work he is done! One of his latest designs was the new Yoo2 hotel. It's just beautiful so check it out! 

Room overlooking the Bosphorus!

A week ago at Taksim Square in Istanbul opened its doors most "budget" hotel in a line called Yoo Yoo2, the design of which belongs to Philippe Starck

Creative director of the group hotels Yoo, known nontrivial interior design ideas, presented a new project - hotel Yoo2, located in the heart of Istanbul. Hotel with 59 rooms and suites is located in Taksim Square, and see view favorite in his room replaced a spectacular panorama of the Bosphorus Strait and park views Gezi.

Sunday night kicked off in Paris Fashion Week, the blog shows for y'all a bit the first night which  had Atelier Versace Fashion Show. 

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked off last night in the French capital. One of the first couture collection for Spring-Summer 2014 presented by Donatella Versace.

As expected, the show was held under the soundtrack of Lady Gaga's latest album, "Artpop", and the singer took center stage in the first row next to the display by Mario Testino, actor Alan Ritchsonom, Nolan Gerard Funk and French model Karine Ferri. On the other side the defile supermodels Karlie Kloss and Maria Borges observed designer Azzedine Alaya and sister Sotstsani Carl Franks.

Recall that cooperation Lady Gaga and fashion house Versace has more than three years. One of the last - part of the singer in the filming of the new advertising campaign Versace , where Gaga appeared before the lenses of photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot in the image of the blonde Donatella.
