Giancarlo Giammetti , the business partner of Valentino Garavani and honorary president of the house Valentino , talks about the road to success and his relationship with Italian designer .

 They met accidentally in a crowded Italian cafe, Giammetti was eighteen and Valentino 24.  They didn’t know what A beautiful friendship was about to begin! This friendship has now manifested into a joint company logo and a love story that still exists today!

 In the eight-minute video ( you must watch ) Giancarlo expands upon there crucial meeting, and the beginning of there relationship he also talks about how he managed to turn his pashion and love for fashion into a successful business.

 In his new book he writes about all his experiences in the fashion world: over a century worth of experiences!  His thoughts on the world among many other things , his new book is called : PRIVATE : Giancarlo Giammetti .

The book is lavishly illustrated with many pictures of his own, get a chance to look into the life entrepreneur. The book also talks about the first years together with Valentino and personal hobbies. He says: "I never considered myself a photographer , much less thought it might be my career , I only want to remember everything . "

To Giammetti , all the photos are worthy memories, the opportunity to see ourselves through the ages.

Have you ever wondered what the Hermès does with leftover materials from their products? 

Pascale Mussard The brands co–artistic director, innovated the world of luxury and took the leftover material and created Petit H , a laboratory used only for innovative thought .

Petit H follows the motto: " on ne jette rien , ça peut toujours serve" (" do not discard or rule out anything, it can always be used later " ). Pascale Mussard, the sixth generation of the family has been in the company for 33 years, and now 3 years ago created Petit H. set up a laboratory that uses leftover material from Hermès to come up with " unidentified poetic objects " .

Petit H uses a very different process then its “ older sibling” Hermès.  Where collections are periodic and the designer has a theme he must follow Petit H flips this process upside down. Recovering the materials not used and creating something new from there imagination. The designers have no outline to follow.

The Petit h team resides in Paris but projects around the world, with collaborations with many artists and designers .

Thanks to Petit H , Hermès shows in a playful way that recycling scraps can be beautiful and couture! Petit H  takes Hermès to a new extraordinary level of design  all pieces are one of a kind art.

 During a interview with Departures magazine Mussard says “These objects are a way for people to be able to touch Hermès in their daily lives, With petit h, I want to nourish this connection and pay tribute to our craftsmen and our craft.”

The parede was fresh, young and brilliant. Karl showed the future of a haute couture.
A sportswear atmosphere, without losing the glamour. There where beautiful embroidered pieces, Tweed yarn, long gowns of silver silk and crystals as fare as the eye colud see. 
Catching everyone's attention was that each model supported sneakers to walk the catwalk. This had the models strut with an air of lightness on catwalk!

Sunday night kicked off in Paris Fashion Week, the blog shows for y'all a bit the first night which  had Atelier Versace Fashion Show. 

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked off last night in the French capital. One of the first couture collection for Spring-Summer 2014 presented by Donatella Versace.

As expected, the show was held under the soundtrack of Lady Gaga's latest album, "Artpop", and the singer took center stage in the first row next to the display by Mario Testino, actor Alan Ritchsonom, Nolan Gerard Funk and French model Karine Ferri. On the other side the defile supermodels Karlie Kloss and Maria Borges observed designer Azzedine Alaya and sister Sotstsani Carl Franks.

Recall that cooperation Lady Gaga and fashion house Versace has more than three years. One of the last - part of the singer in the filming of the new advertising campaign Versace , where Gaga appeared before the lenses of photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot in the image of the blonde Donatella.

If you decide to eat in between important shows, then definitely visit the famous restaurant La Gare, which is housed in a former railway station Passy-La Muette. This is one of the largest and most unusual restaurants in Paris holding 250 seats and inside a long hall. The Lunch menu fits into a modest budget (20 euros) and offers delicious but   Unusual gastronomic sensations.

Another option is a cozy little restaurant l'Apparemment Café on R ue des Coutures St-Gervais. Homemade sandwiches, delicious salads and aromatic coffee combined with the restrained interior chamber.  A beautiful atmosphere with a pleasant  view of its neighbor the  Picasso Museum. Prices for Dinner at the Cafe will cost you about 10-15 euros and stays open till 12am.

For a great brunch that Is still Close to the three big Paris secular institutions go to the conceptual minibar: The Big Ben Bar Restaurant Train Bleu. It's a great place for a business meeting or a relaxing dinner. Big Ben Bar looks like a train corridor. Dinner here will cost you about 30-40 euros.
